The rehabilitative stretches and strengthening exercises that we utilize in our office are proven to stretch and strengthen muscles, tendons and
ligaments to help decrease the different pains in your body. They are not cookie cutter programs that we give out to everybody that comes in. We
have taken our pictures doing these exercises and explained how to do them in the margins so you do them right every time.
Rehabilitative Stretching is different then standard stretching before exercise, its purpose is to establish length to the muscle. To establish length
it is important to stretch multiple times throughout the day. When we give you your specific stretching program we will explain this in further detail.
Rehabilitative Strengthening is different than standard exercise. Rehabilitative strengthening is designed specifically for an injured area based on
individual patient needs. We will give you specific exercises according to muscle groups. These are to be performed once per day. When you get
your specific strengthening program you will get a piece of theraband tubing to work with. When we give you your specific strengthening program
we will explain this in further detail.
